Therapeutic-grade Essential Oils
I work with Young Living Essential Oils TM which many believe to be some of the purest oils in the world. Because of their high quality, they work naturally with the physical body, the emotions, the mind and the spirit in sometimes subtle and profound ways.
Essential oils have been used for thousands of years. Due to their complexity, these oils do not disturb the body’s natural balance.
The aroma of an oil may be inhaled or the oil itself may be applied topically, which is possible because of the quality of the oil being used.
I use the oils in conjunction with polarity where both of these modalities enhance each other. In every session the client’s wishes are respected in terms of using the oils.
This treatment is one of using the oils alone. The Raindrop Technique is a gentle massage method of “dropping” oils on the spine and back. It was introduced to society by Gary Young, N.D. who was inspired by the traditions of the Lakota Native Americans.
The Raindrop Technique is often used in conjunction with a type of foot massage called Vita Flex. These two techniques are different from traditional reflexology and back massage in that they do not apply heavy pressure, pushing or any form of spinal manipulation. The gentle action of the oils is what brings about the remarkable results.
Muscle-testing with Therapeutic-grade Essential Oils
This is a 20 to 30 minute session using muscle-testing to ask for which specific oils are the appropriate ones to be used. This is
based on that the client's body/mind system already knows exactly what it needs for healing. The practitioner acts as the proxy for the muscle-testing. Tuning forks may be also be used. Further or deeper exploration of the underlying issue may be required for more long-lasting results, depending on the complexity of the issue.
